Founded in 1914, the Illinois Restaurant Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, protecting, educating and improving the restaurant industry in Illinois.
Objective | Update the branding to a cleaner, more modern mark that could be utilized successfully across all marketing platforms while representing the industry as a whole.

INSPIRATION
The inspiration for the new Illinois Restaurant Association brand started with the industry itself. Whereas the old logo was deemed too busy because it was trying to represent every aspect of the industry in a literal manner, I wanted to pair down the visuals while still keeping restaurants of all types in mind .
